I clearly stated that the phrase ethnic cleansing can better be stated as supporting ethnic purity. Your logic that Trump’s efforts cannot stop increasing ethnic diversity misses the point (and based on your posting history it surprises me that you miss this point – you usually get the finer points of arguments). The point is that Trump’s efforts are an attempt to reduce ethnic diversity. This is an attempt to achieve the same goal as ethnic cleansing, which is a homogenous society.

Both the wall (which does focus on Hispanics – he has made that clear with his comments) and the original Muslim ban (which clearly excluded Muslims) are attempts to achieve this. Even many of his supporters see this and voted for him because of this clear but unstated (in that way – until the s-hole comment, if true) goal.

Regarding taking us off-topic, it is my opinion that you focus too much on this. Maybe the way to reduce racism is to ignore the basic facts as you are arguing, but I don’t think so. IMO, Trump got elected because people were afraid to call bigots what they were/are. What I stated above and throughout is true.
